The lighthouse in Harbour town has come to be symbol for
Hilton Head, the one truely recognizable landmark.
Visitors can take a trip up to the top and look down on
the 18th hole of Harbour Town Links, the marina and Port
Royal Sound.

Unlike Hilton Head's lighthouse, the Hunting Island one
is a genuine historical treasure, dating back to 1859.
Only about an hours drive from Hilton Head, Hunting Island
is well worth a visit.
